Ashley Rae Thomas (A.R.T)

Ancient History: I was born and raised in Crescent Township, PA. I attended St. James School in Sewickley, PA from preschool to eighth grade and high school at Moon Area High School, graduating in 2004. I became a volunteer Fire Fighter in 2005 and and Emergency Medical Practitioner in 2006. In 2007, I decided to take the next step and enrolled in a municipal police academy. I graduated at the end of 2007 and got hired at my first police job in 2008.

Changing the subject.... for a bit of my more recent back story....
My parents started taking my brother and I to the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix (PVGP), held on the streets of Schenley Park in Pittsburgh, PA when I was about ten years old. Every year we attended this wonderful race. After I was old enough to drive, I attended on my own. In 2012, while attending the PVGP, I met my now husband. We got engaged in July 2014. He proposed to me on "The Bricks" at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. We were married about a year later, August 2015 in Williamsburg, VA in the Wren Chapel on the campus of The College of William and Mary.

In addition to our love of vintage race cars, my husband and I run a 501(c) (3) charity, High Performance Heores. Our charity sponsors combat-wounded veterans, racing vintage race cars.

This business is one of the many irons in the fire. I am extremely busy. I have quite a few different jobs, but the goal is to make this my main source of income as time goes on and it becomes more successful.
